Lord of the Manor of Upton Philip Egerton 1731 - 1786
Eldest son of John, became Lord of the Manor on his death.
In 1765 married cousin Mary Eyles-Styles (1745 - 1821), daughter of his father's sister. Altogether they had 14 children, the first two of whom ultimately succeeded to the baronetcy.
Appears to have been the victim of notorious highwayman Edward Higgins from Knutsford who mingled with the aristocracy and stole a jewelled snuff box from Oulton Park following an evening of whist and overnight stay in the 1760s
